Housing is the most basic material condition for human’s living and developing,and the level of its development is a measure of a country’s level of social development and civilization. As the market plays a key role in the allocation of resources and the urban housing reform goes deeply, housing market is developing steadily, at the same time, the housing condition of urban residents has been greatly improved. While, with a large number of rural labors going to the city, housing price is also pushed up. Although under the market mechanism, the development of the real estate industry provides a power for rapid development of the economy. But the urban housing problems of low-income families can not be solved only by housing market. This article chooses Changzhi city as the research object, and introduces the security housing supply and demand situation of Changzhi City, analyzes the factors which affect the demands of security housing. And based on these factors, establishing prediction model to forecast the number of the demands of security housing, and provides suggestions of the construction of security housing for Changzhi.In this article, a good foundation is established in order to effectively predict the number of the demands of security housing by makes a detailed analysis of the developing situation of Changzhi and the factors which affect the demands of security housing. There are many factors affecting the demand of the moderate and low-income groups, such as urban population, per capita income and expenditure, commercial housing prices and other factors. So this article introduces the changes of urban population, per capita income and expenditure of Changzhi in recent years. The above analysis provides a basis for selecting index and data of forecasting.There are two kinds of methods choosed for analyzing and forecasting of demands of security housing of Changzhi in this article. A method is a linear prediction model,the other is a demand forecasting model. This article puts the combination of two results of forecasting methods as the final result. Suggestions for the construction of security housing for Changzhi city are provided at last.A combination of qualitative and quantitative methods are used in this article for analyzing the situation and forecasting the data of demand of security housing.
