With the beginning of the third technological revolution, high-tech enterprise has been growing constantly. From the perspective of development, high-tech enterprises will play an essential role in every country with such a quantitative and qualitative leap. As the core competitiveness of high-tech enterprises, scientific and technological innovation capability in our local enterprise is not so optimistic. Especially in China, long-term technological catch-up scenario leading companies have to face an innovation dilemma, whether to improve the existing technology, or to explore high-tech area. At the same time, the use of innovative and exploratory innovation is still controversial in academic circles. Especially taking the special requirements of high-tech enterprises for knowledge and technology into consideration, whether the enterprise could achieve the coordinated development needs to be studied more professionally and deeply.In view of this, this paper aims at exploring the influence mechanism of organizational ambidexterity in the performance of high-tech enterprises. Firstly, we sort out and analyze the relevant research results, explain the different conclusions on the relationship between organizational ambidexterity and firm performance. Secondly, we study the effect of technology innovation and exploration activities. Thirdly, as companies always in an open and dynamic environment, we specially examine the regulatory role of central location inside the enterprise network for the relationship between organizational ambidexterity and high-tech enterprises performance.The research combines both theory and empirical analysis. Logically deduce on the basis of the conceptual model, with questionnaires to obtain data, and then complete the empirical analysis. We finally come to below conclusions, associated duality have significant positive impact on the performance of high-tech enterprises, while the balance of duality has not played a significant role yet. Enterprise network position cannot only enhance the central role of the associated duality for corporate performance, but could also achieve a positive impact from the balanced duality. In addition, based on above empirical results, study from the perspective of organizational ambidexterity and network-centric position, the paper also take the status of Chinese high-tech enterprises into consideration, and make several policy recommendations.
