The Study On Transforming And Upgrading Of Texture And Garment Industry In Zhejiang Province

Zhejiang province is big province of China’s textile and apparel production, textile and garment industry in Zhejiang province make a significant role in industrial production and export trade. Nonetheless, Zhejiang textile and garment industry still has a lot of shortcomings, such as product technology content is not high, textile and clothing brands lack of popularity, clothing production lack of innovation ability and innovation consciousness is not strong and so on. This makes the clothing textile industry of Zhejiang province in the bottom of the textile and garment industry value chain all over the world. Industry transformation and upgrading, is not simply the textile and garment industry is the industry internal enterprise to increase product added value, and to extend the industrial chain, the development trend of product connotation, also is the necessary way to realize the sustainable development of the industry.This paper is based on the theory of global value chain up to explore the Zhejiang clothing textile industry transformation and upgrading. In line with the problems, and then to analyze problems, and then the research methods to discuss to solve the problem.First of all, in the current environment of economic globalization and the integration of production, production and operation of textile and garment industry in Zhejiang province environment is becoming more and more serious, thus this paper puts forward how to make the transformation and upgrading of Zhejiang textile and garment industry to realize the question.Secondly, this paper on the current situation of the textile and garment industry in Zhejiang province was investigated. For industry development are analyzed first, and then use the SWOT analysis method to the industry will face the opportunities and challenges, advantages and disadvantages were analyzed, finally, Ningbo and Shaoxing in Zhejiang province these two main textile and garment enterprises cluster analysis, the base in order to highlight a problem for the textile and garment industry in Zhejiang province, and points out the necessity of transformation and upgrading of textile and garment industry in Zhejiang province.Again, based on the theory of global value chain of industry transformation and upgrading of the classification method, and draw lessons from the authority of industry transformation and upgrading measure standard index, and combined with textile and garment industry in Zhejiang province, ultimately determine the total factor productivity growth rate and so on seven transformation and upgrading of textile and apparel industry of Zhejiang province level evaluation of comprehensive measures, to explore in different stages of the industrial transformation and upgrading of the specific situation. At the same time, according to the results of the calculation of the phase transformation and upgrading index, using the principal component analysis(PCA) to the transformation and upgrading of textile and garment industry in Zhejiang province level comprehensive evaluation, found that high-level continuously in recent years, Zhejiang textile garment industry transformation and upgrading of industry level increased significantly. In addition, the empirical results also found that net exports of dominant comparative advantage and the relative import and export average unit price’s contribution to the transformation and upgrading of Zhejiang textile and clothing industry is large, and total factor productivity growth rate, gross value of industrial output growth rate and labor productivity growth rate of these three indicators contribution to the transformation and upgrading of textile and garment industry in Zhejiang province is relatively small. That, the main industry in the stage of transformation and upgrading of products, and has been part of the transformation and upgrading of enterprises will focus on function, but did not break through the stages of transformation and upgrading.Finally, this paper puts forward the possible reasons restricting function transformation and upgrading of the textile garment industry in Zhejiang province, and puts forward countermeasures from the aspect of enterprise and government level, for the transformation and upgrading of Zhejiang textile and garment industry to further provide some decision reference.
