Research On Enterprise Business Model Selection Method In The View Of Value Chain

In pursuit of profit, more and more researchers and entrepreneurs begin to pay attention to the study of the business model. Nowadays, it is not the competition between products, but the business models. The study of enterprise business model selection methods can help enterprise select the optimal business model, according to the external environment and their own characteristics. So far, there are still lack of research on business model selection problem.One is the research of enterprise business model elements and the evaluation index system.while domestic and foreign scholars have done a lot of research, because of the difference of various scholars personal practice and theory angle of view, the enterprise business model elements and evaluation index syetem have not reached a unified vew. Secondly, the existing business model selection method and generating method are flawed, on the one hand, existing business model selection methods cannot handle the correlation information between business model evaluation index,on the other hand,the existing business model generation method is lack of systemic and predictability.Therefore, we should do more reseach on business model selection problem from these several aspects.In this paper, the study aims to deeeply research on enterprise business model selection problem on the basis of the existing research on business model selection problem in the view of value chain. The research purpose and meaning lies in:in terms of theory and method of research, this article systematic studys and analysis the existing study of business model,Then gives a new method to sovle the business selecton problem.The proposed methed enrich the relevant studies of enterprise business model selection method, at the same time, provides a new solution for the enterprise business model selection.This paper mainly completed the following several aspects:(1) The generation of business model in the view value chain. Firstly, in this paper, we analyze a large number of studies on business model elements, and then define the business model elements on the basis of related literature, from the angle of value chain system. Secondly,given the elements possible set options, we permute and combine each element possible options to develop the initial business model alternatives set.Finally, according to the principle of business model generation, conditional consistency,we eliminate infeasible solution,and then get the final business model alternatives set.(2) Building the evaluation index system of enterprise business model in the view of value chain. In the view of the definition of business model, we build the evaluation index system of business model with general universality, based on the study of the evaluation index system, by the methods of literature review, expert scoring method, combining the evaluation index to construct the principle.(3) Enterprise business model selection method. In this paper, we propose a business model selection method to solve this problem, combinng DEMATAL with TOPSIS. DEMATEL is an effective way to solve the problem of the index weight with the associated information. After determinng the evaluation index weights, the TOPSIS method is adopted to choose the optimal business model.(4) Case study:BG steel enterprise business model alternative choice. Through sovling BG steel enterprise business model selection problem, we explain the process of enterprise business model selection method of the proposed enterprise business model selection method.The systematically reseach on enterprise business model selection problem,not only enrich the research of enterprise business model selection, but also provid a thought and guidance for the business model selection problem in the real practices.
