| Xinjiang is located in the border areas,the basis of poor conditions, regional differences and reformhas lagged behind, and many other factors,the income of farmers grow slowly, this lead to social instability, thus affecting the stability of thecountry,also affect China’s reform and opening up process of development. Therefore, we must attach attention to the problem of the income gap between urban and rural residents only this, it can be beneficial to the goal of building a well-off society in Xinjiang.In the era of rapid economic development, how to narrow the urban-rural income gap, has become a priority among priorities of the work.However,it seems to be hardly to solve the problem only from the two aspects of the market and the society.
