China has become the world’s first clothing manufacturing country and consumption power,but it does not become a fashion power.Out of the enterprise,China’s garment industry is mainly influenced by the foreign clothing enterprises,which with well-known brands,the management of advanced technology,advanced information system and other advantages.In the enterprise,it is also facing a tight cash flow,excess inventory and labor costs rose sharply and other pressures. Therefore,in order to improve the performance of enterprises and enhance competitiveness,enterprises must discover and solve problems in the aspect of enterprise management.Financial management is core of enterprise management,and working capital management is the core content of financial management.Therefore,companies should give full attention to the apparel industry management of working capital and increase the importance of working capital management performance levels.Since twentieth century ninth years,the REL company and CFO magazine has discovered that working capital management has become an important way to build the core competitiveness.Now Chinese Literature also study the working capital management,and hope that the enterprises can improve the level of working capital management.Research on working capital management performance not only is the analysis of the project,but also combines the channel management theory,so we can have a more complete evaluation of the performance of working capital management,and identify problems,then improve the enterprise management.Therefore,it is important to study the working capital management performance in China’s garment industry.Firstly, the literature about the working capital management efficiency are reviewed.Followed by the normative analysis of working capital management, mainly introduces the concept,classification of working capital and the performance evaluation index,theoretical basis,from elements and channels.Then it analyses the current situation of working capital management performance in the apparel industry,and discover that the inventory turnover,accounts receivable turnover,accounts payable turnover period and marketing channel management have some problems,so some improvement measures have been put forward.Then it analyses the typical case in garment industry.Finally it is a summary. |
