| At present,China is on a new period of economic transition that oriented from full-functions government to multi-function society. The commerce chamber as a non-profit social association has always well connected with the non-government associations & enterprises in the society and independently managed that naturally become a bridge or coordinator between government and enterprises. From the perspective of research and practice at home and abroad,the development of market economy is more mature that requires a better economy system. Therefore, the commerce chamber is needed to play its important role on the communication.The paper is reference to the works and papers by the researcher at home and abroad that is trying to discuss the necessity, possibility and importance for commerce association to engage on the private economy, and detailed discuss about the situation in Nantong that shows how’s the development situation of commerce association and private economy in Nantong through the data and charts. It shows the success cases for commerce association in respect to support the development of enterprises, the marketing environment, social management, as well as the promotion of local economy community. Also, it mentions the problems and challenges for commerce association during the economy activities. After the analysis of the problems and challenges and experiences for the advanced area, it provides three feasible suggestions that one is to curb the power of bureaucrats, rein in government spending and promote the localization of commerce organization; second is to improve the implementation of legal system and establish the legal status of commerce association; third is to enhance the guidance and strengthen the internal management of commerce association.The paper leads to some thoughts and discussions on this new type of economy that gives the guides and references to the private economy and causes the further researches on development of commerce association. |
