| As the new generation of information technology, the Internet of Things(IOT) is leading a new technical and industrial revolution, which is a development opportunity for countries worldwide. With the purpose of forging new momentum for development in the future and accelerating the combination of informatization and industrialization, China has made IOT strategic emerging industry. Facing this emerging technology, our government and relevant enterprises have heavily invested in both research and explore of IOT. Innovation can be said to be the theme of high and new technology industries, of course it is no exception in IOT. The accurate grasp of innovation in the development of IOT industry will help implement more conducive to the development of IOT industry in the future. Therefore, this article aimed at the innovation of the development of IOT industry, for the sake of demonstrating that innovation can effectively drive the development of IOT and promote the vitality of IOT industry, and accelerate the development of IOT in China. This article get down to research from two perspectives: the drive force of innovation and direction of innovation.Firstly, this article established the study model of the innovation drive of IOT industry. Before we study on the innovation drive of IOT industry, we should clarify the composition of the entire technology chain of the whole IOT industry of our country, using CDM model methods to divide innovation activity in three stages as innovation input, innovation output, innovation result, and establish models for each stage respectively to research how innovation drivers work.Secondly, this article made empirical research on the study model of innovation drives of IOT industry. Picking IOT listed company as the object of study, explore innovation status of IOT industry from the perspective of enterprises. The empirical results indicated that factors such as enterprise scale, government subsidies or more have positive impact on innovation activities. In addition, innovation input has a direction accelerate effect to innovation output, while innovation output has the same role for innovation result.In the end, this article studied on the direction of technical innovation of IOT industry based on patent analysis. We analyzed innovation direction and development tendency of the development of IOT industry by using time series analysis, spatial distribution analysis and IPC number analysis of patent information analysis methods. The analysis result shows that the key of research of IOT industry of our country are sensor and the field of wireless communication, and the technology of convergence heterogeneous networks will be the key of research of IOT industry in the future. |
