Eco-tourism as a sustainable tourism has become the most important way to protect environment, but also an important form of tourism to complete a sustainable economy. eco-tourism is main form of tourism development, and eco-tourism development provides a good foundation for a city’s tourism development. On the basis of the protection of tourism resources, it is more important to have a scientific and rational exploitation of Eco-tourism resource.By understanding the concept of eco-tourism and eco-tourism resource, this paper uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process to evaluate the Inner Mongolia national reserve’s eco-tourism resource. This paper combines the theory knowledge of sustainable development, ecological economics, environmental carrying capacity and landscape ecology. Inner Mongolia Tumuji national reserve is the basis object of this paper, and from the creation of eco-tourism resources evaluation system to proceed, further analysis the affecting factors of ecotourism resource evaluation, and proposed some suggestions for Eco-tourism development.This thesis consists of six major parts, focusing on four, five and sixth. The first chapter introduces the research status of eco-tourism, eco-tourism resource and ecological tourism in nature reserve. This chapter describe the research status of eco-tourism, ecotourism resources and the eco-tourism development of nature reserve. The second chapter is a fundamental part of the whole thesis, in this chapter introduced the thesis related basic theory and concepts. This chapter laid the foundation for the work of the late eco-tourism resource evaluation. The third chapter described the current situation ecotourism of Inner Mongolia nature reserve and summarized Inner Mongolia nature reserve classification, distribution, as well as eco-tourism development overview. The forth chapter establishes the index system for eco-tourism resource evaluation, to determine the weight of evaluation factors, analytical evaluation methods and evaluation criteria. The fifth chapter for Inner Mongolia Tumuji nature reserve to analyze instance, by using AHP to evaluate the Inner Mongolia Tumuji nature reserve. This assessment provides a basis and contribution for evaluating the ecological tourism resources of other nature reserve in Inner Mongolia. The six chapter is the conclusion of this thesis, also summarize the previous five parts. This chapter also presented insufficient innovation and research.
