Research On The Theory And Methods Of The Evaluation Of Carbon Assets

With the global trend of energy saving, environmental protection and low-carbon economy, a rising international carbon trading market, a substantial increase in carbon asset trading, carbon asset position in the enterprise is increasingly important, with the corresponding carbon asset identification, peer evaluation, and management has become a huge potential market demand. However, current research on carbon asset identification, assessment and management aspects is still in its infancy, which can not meet the rapid growth demand of specialized services such as carbon measurement and management of assets. Therefore, as soon as possible carry out the carbon asset valuation theory and methods related research has important theoretical and practical significance.Based on existing research, this paper further clarified the meaning of the carbon assets, and analyzed the characteristics of carbon assets, classification; based on existing carbon trading system, this paper analyzed the carbon asset formation mechanism and the main factors of carbon asset valuation. Then, based on the characteristics of different carbon assets, Methods for assessing CDM carbon assets, quotas carbon asset, voluntary emission reduction carbon assets were explored, which combines Monte Carlo method for CDM carbon price were simulated, from the internal perspective analyzed the value of the quota carbon assets for the enterprise, combined with the carbon price factors analyzed voluntary carbon asset valuation ideas. Finally, the carbon asset valuation method in the application key and carbon asset valuation basis that needed to improve and the management of carbon asset management were analyzed.In this paper, it carried out useful exploration for the theory and methods of carbon asset valuation, which help provide more scientific guidance for the assessment practice and provide theoretical and practical support for enterprise-depth understanding of the asset value of carbon and carbon asset management. This paper laid the foundation for further study of carbon asset valuation theory and method. This paper’s research on carbon asset valuation method is still insufficient, still need further research and improvement.
