Research On Rason Special Economic Zone Model Developed And Managed Jointly By China-North Korea

In 2010, the top leaders of China-North Korea have reached consensus of common development and management Rason Economic & Trade Area. The project opening ceremony of Rason Economic & Trade Area was held on June 2011. Since then, China’s Jilin province signed the "on China-North Korea Rason Economic & Trade Area(2011-2020) planning framework agreement" with Rason. And the Rason Economic & Trade Area management committee was founded on October 26 2012.Nowadays for the expanding opening up strategy, transnational economic cooperation zones have great significance for sustained growth of our country’s economic power and comprehensive national strength enhanced gradually. Tumen River Region has important strategic significance in changji figure in the development and opening-up pilot area. This thesis researched on the collaborative development of Tumen River Region and Rason free economic zone based on the point of view of transnational economic cooperation zone to develop common management. It is conducive to strengthening our country to the Tumen River Region cooperation zones as a platform of bilateral economic cooperation. It is conducive to strengthening our country in northeast Asia economic status. It can improve China’s international influence in the area and speed up the development of regional economic integration, thereby giving impetus to the development of the whole northeast Asia.This paper starting from the background of economic globalization, reviewed and analyzed the development of the Tumen River Region, the present situation and the obstacles facing during the development on the basis of the theory of international regional cooperation, transnational economic cooperation theory and then analyzed the Rason Economic & Trade Area development course, present situation and the obstacles facing during the development. It is concluded that the two countries of Rason Economic & Trade Area to jointly develop the necessity of joint management from rason JingMao District the restricting factors of development. Research on the advantages and characteristics of China-North Korea common develop and management of Rason Economic & Trade Area mode. Thus find out the restricting factors of common development and management mode and put forward countermeasure and suggestions.
