Nokia is a Finnish mobile phone maker, had once been the king of mobile phone market. Whenever you heard mobile phone you can remembered Nokia. She held the champion for14years in this market, and the peak was as high as40%. However, in the recent years, she continued to decline, the market share dropped rapidly, and cannot see any recovery. And now, only have the market share of1.6%.Sharp decline in market share have many external reasons. For example, the rise of the iphone and quickly spread all over the world. And Android operating system was accepted by most of smart phone makers, and gradually dominate the smartphone operating system market. As well as consumers had changed their concerns. They paid more attention to the system and software of smart phone.Nokia did not adjust her strategy to follow this market change. So she lost the market. This article will analysis the detail of Nokia product compete strategy, such as operating system、quality、product prices、 product characteristics、Nokia brand and so on. Then use the method of SWOT to analysis the external opportunities and threats, as well as the inner insufficient and advantage. Based on these results, will try to make the compete strategy for Nokia new WP8products. Hope this can help Nokia to revive.
