Since2001, China’s accession to the WTO, with the development of various types of banks, the financial reform of our country is moving, to a deeper direction at the same time, China’s banking sector has also undergone profound changes. First of all, the bank diversification., regional commercial banks are booming. City commercial banks, rural commercial banks and other special service was established, also in specific regions and customers in all over the country in various banks, foreign banks in China, and set up branches in more than one city. Secondly, the bank business diversification. All kinds of innovative business of the banking industry to a hitherto unknown height of development, to promote it to all financial institutions change. Third, bank customers to the appearance of fine differentiation. For all types of customer groups, each bank is trying to formulate a financial plan for the customer subdivision, marking China’s banking sector has entered a mature stage of development. In this context, we can say, the benefit of the main competition in Chinese banking industry diversification, competition means diversification, competitive business has become the most obvious feature.Based on the basic concepts of core competence as the starting point, and the connotation, the characteristics of core competitiveness of commercial banks and its elements were summarized, to provide theoretical support for Shaan xi branch of industrial and Commercial Bank of GX subbranch of the core competitiveness.
