Optmization On Refined Oil Logistic Of Yanchang&Shell Petro

As Chinese government gradually opening domestic refined oil market, large international petroleum enterprise stared to join the competition of refined oil retailing in China by cooperating with domestic oil enterprises and setting up joint venture companies with domestic oil companies. As a latecomer, Yanchang and Shell Petroleum Company is facing the difficulties of competing with "The Group of Two"(CNPC and Sinopec)in current retail market pattern.In order to survive and grow rapidly under the hardmarket environment,Yanchang and Shell Petroleum Company has to find a way to reduce operating cost. In recent years, the refined oil retail terminal network of Yanchang and Shell Petroleum Company has expended rapidly, refined oil logistic has become a bottleneck for the expansion of Yanchang and Shell Petro. This paper mainly study on the problem of refined oil logistic, and to seek the breakthroughof the development of Yanchang and Shell Petro from the logical perspectiveBased on the theory of supply chain and fundamentalpatternof refined oil logistic in current market, through the method of comparison studyand case study, this research analyses the existing problems of logistic session in refined oil distribution, predicts the demand of logistic in2years, and gives out solution for Yanchang and Shell Petro to optimize its logistic management.This paper briefly describes the fundamental state of Yanchang and Shell Petro, including its primary business, organizational structure and current status of refined oil logistic. The main part of the paper analyses the problems and causes of refined oil logistic through field research. With application of advanced theories and experience of advanced enterprises, the paper predicts the demand of logistic in refined oil distribution, and then proposes optimization solution of logistic management. In addition, this paper points out the crucial issues during the implementation of solution, and gives out suggestions and measures.This research paper designs a solution for refined oil logistic, tries to approach the bottleneck problem for the development of Yanchang and Shell Petro, offers a good reference for enterprises to cut operation costs and increase efficiency of products distribution.
