With the development of globalization, the interactions of different countries become more and more common, it is not news that trade between economies is carrying on here and there. As a matter of fact, the tendency is to tell that the service trade is to overwhelm the goods trade. In1980s, Shelp and Riddle from America put forward a theory" Service guides the increase of economy". If there is no right guiding theory, there will be no correct measures, so it is an important question that how to choose a positive and effective degree of openness.Trade in service is an important composition of economic strategy in China. Since the reform and open up in1979, the proportion of service trade in China increase year by year. The total number of service trade in China rose from4.4billion dollars in1982to470.6billion dollars in2012, accounting for0.6%and5.5%of the total number of the world’s service trade respectively. Although affected by the financial crisis in2008, the overall output of service trade rose. However, the difference of service trade between China and developed countries was huge:on one hand, it is embodied in the absolute scale. On the other hand, it is embodied in the share of service trade in the GDP. So we can conclude the growing space for service trade in China. After entering the WTO, China made lots of commissions in service trade areas, it mainly aims to achieve trade liberalization by means of marketing accession and favorable treatment.Global economic integration brings us many positive effects as well as disadvantages. Too much openness will make the economy collapse. In order to promote the development of service trade even the economy and guarantee to adapt our countries’ openness to the marketing level, focused on the measurement of service trade and based on comparative study and chart analysis, this article do as follows:Firstly, carry on a comparative study on the openness of service trade at different times. Secondly, through the latest data, carry on a empirical research on the service trade with different methods. Then this article conclude a more comprehensive result, and it is natural that some suggestions follow. Through all this, we can draw a more clear understanding of openness of service trade. Only by this way, can we take advantage of the open up of service trade, and exert the benefits to the utmost. Here the article is divided into six parts, the contents are as follows:The first chapter is introduction. This chapter describes the background, the significance and a comprehensive description of the researchers’ studies. Learners from home and abroad proposed different methods to measure the openness of service trade in China. Then it is methods of this article, the innovations and shortcomings. The second chapter is the factors affecting the openness of service trade in China. It includes basic factors affecting the openness of trade. Then it analyzes the characters in service trade and the trend of the world service trade. It is the last part that the factors affecting the openness of service trade in China. The third chapter is different methods to measure the openness of service trade in China. It is the body of this article, describing from four aspects. The fourth chapter, the problems in the openness of service trade in China. Based on the whole article, this chapter concludes the problems and analyzes the reason for all this. The fifth chapter proposes the suggestions for extending the openness of service trade in China. The last chapter is the conclusion of the article and a prospect of service trade in China.
