Research On Current Situation And Countermeasure Of Anoectochilus Roxburghii Industry In Nanjing

Anoectochilus roxburghii, Jin Xianlan enjoys the honor of the name called "King of medicine","gold grass" and "magical herb". Anoectochilus roxburghii are mainly gathering in Fujian and Taiwan, especially taking Nanjing Fujian, Taichung Taiwan as the center. So many manufacturing enterprises concentrated in the two main places. With the development of many years, A.roxburghii expended reflexively from Nanjing to the areas of west, central and north of Fujian province. Because of the strong support of Nanjing government, making Nanjing win the "China Anoectochilus Town" reputation. There is a great progress in new product development, industrial upgrading, plant layout, product promotion and brand building of Nanjing A.roxburghii, so it is really competitive in the domestic market. However, the development of Anoectochilus roxburghii industry in Nanjing has also encountered the bottleneck. At present the articles and monographs dedicated about industrial development of A. roxburghii are rarely, and most of them are only about tissue culture technology. This paper focuses on the comprehensive analysis on the advantages and problems existing in the development of Nanjing Anoectochilus roxburghii, futhermore, I also put forward the countermeasures against them, which expecting to provide some countermeasures have certain reference value for the development of this industry in Nanjing and even the whole domestic industry.By searching the relevant literature, visiting the Association of Anoectochilus roxburghii Industry, the relevant government departments,enterprises, markets, and planting areas, communicating with Anoectochilus enterprises and farmers, I completely master the situation about the cultivation techniques and the development policy of Anoectochilus roxburghii industry. I got into the market in Nanjing County, investigated the supply and demand of Anoectochilus roxburghii. What’s more, I carried out the question-and-answer survey among the consumers of Nanjing County, collected the data, and analyse it carefully, so I have gained the first-hand data. By making all these efforts, I have built up a solid foundation for the research work on the development of Anoectochilus roxburghii industry in Nanjing County. This paper analyses the market according to the survey, I focused on investigating the main consumers of Anoectochilus roxburghii, the products of Anoectochilus roxburghii and the Anoectochilus roxburghii industry in Nanjing.The paper also draws on the successful experience of the development of orchid industry in Nanjing and the development of Anoectochilus roxburghii industry inYongan. As far as I am concerned, I believe that the government should introduce some policies to support the industry; accelerate the construction of marketing system; to strengthen the technical demonstration and training; promote the standardized production; expand the marketing network,combine the production, supply with sell; apply the "enterprise+base+farmer" mode, motivate the farmers to plant in order to achieve sustained and effective development of Nanjing Anoectochilus roxburghii industry.Based on the analysis of the investigation and study, I proposing the development strategy about Nanjing Anoectochilus industry, mainly including big push of the standardized production, implementation of brand promotion strategy; strengthen Anoectochilus quality management, extension chain development of related industries; the application of high-tech and cultivation of new industry cluster; strengthen the regulatory functions of government and strengthen the government support.
