| The paper takes flax industry in Lanxi county as research object to analyses and summarizeshistory and present situation of flax industry development in Lanxi county. Analysis the existingproblems and put forward relative countermeasures by researching successful experiences of flax andother industries in China.Lanxi county is the principal area of flax in Heilongjiang province. Planting and processing flax inLanxi county started from1937. The development of flax industry in Lanxi county goes through fourstages: from planting raw materials, to processing raw materials, to manufacturing product, to sellingproduct. In recent years, due to more and more people like natural and environment-friendly flaxproducts, Lanxi county began to manufacture linen car cushion and other products, build wild salesnetwork, and occupy the most market share of linen car cushion. Lanxi county is named “township ofChinese flax” in1996by organization committee of Chinese special product township. Flax industry isone of the three main industries in Lanxi county, and it promotes economic development.Through study and analysis, finds that flan industry development in Lanxi county exists problemsas follows:Profit declines without agricultural subsidy compared with other crops; Lack of cultivars with goodquality; Mechanical levels of processing and manufacturing are low; The market of flax products is notregulated; Inadequate investment in research and development of other products.The paper comes up with countermeasure on the problems existing.Increase agricultural subsidy; Build up species breeding base; Import equipments from abroad;Standardize the market; Develop innovative products and improve the products value-added.The study finds out the reasons of hinder flax industry development. It has some practicalsignificance to analysis the existing problems and put forward relative countermeasures, and it alsoprovides the reference for adjust countermeasure of flax industry development. |
