As far as how fast, wide and efficient information goes, nothing, no matter the wordswe speak or write, could manage to match a specific visual symbol called logo.Though restricted within a limited space, a logo could transfer an insightful grasp ofthe brand it stands for and legally protect its production. For apparel, logos serve assymbolized messenger that not only manifests designing concept and style of a brandbut also burden with its whole image, reputation even intangible assets. Gradually, abrand by repeating logo application, would impress the masses with its hidden quality,such as fashionable trait, high grade service and a comprehensive image.Due to the necessity of rapid information transmission and frequent socialinteraction, it is required that our expressions should not be blocked by languagedifference. Excelled at neutralizing such problem, graphic image stands out naturally.To be an internationalized clothing brand, its logo must be easy to broadcast andmemorized. Pithy, unique, artistic shaped with delicate fonts and color, more andmore culture and conceptions logos crave to express nowadays. Some well-knownbrands have already devoted tremendous amount of money for the sake of logoresearch, marketing, and designing.With internationally famous clothing brand prevailed Chinese market for years,logo designing finally drew enough attention for Chinese designers to make a change.Driven by profit and aesthetic purpose, few good works emerged with the wholepicture far from optimistic. Numbers of garment enterprises throughout Jilin provincespecifically, are still at the barbaric stage of pirating and imitating others, and someeven perfunctorily choose random logos or no logo at all. In the long run, such actionswould definitely slow down the uprising development of clothing industry in Jilinprovince.This article, mainly elaborated the process of how the inside quality of a clothingbrand such as core value became appreciated by its outside appearance. Then itdiscussed the concept of logo identification which originated in the area of visual recognition, how it shows and functions, and how it brings out notion of“internationalized logo designing”. Afterwards, the article would come to a commonrule in the field of apparel logo designing with help of several classic casesthroughout the world. Analysis on actual cases concerning Jilin province pointed outthe existing problems and initiated an optimal designing project concludinggovernment supervision, local rite, designing process and designing principals.It seems that the aggressive expansion and more external trade have pushed logosin clothing business to go internationalized. In other words, a brand wished to shineon a better stage must take its first step-designing a logo with international characterto the top of its list of importance.
