Study On The Development Status And Countermeasure Of The Qiongzhong Green Orange Industry In Qiongzhong County

Qiongzhong County,is one of most important county of citrus production in Hainan Province. Which about34.82%of the total citrus plant area and about47.05%of the total citrus output in Hainan’s citrus industry in2013.Through by the top of its output and plant area,it have played a main pole in Hainan’s citrus industry or even in Hainan’s fruit industry.Qiongzhong Green Orange,which came from Lianjiang Guangdong Province in1988. In recent years, It develop rapidly and had been the fame brand of Hainan’s citrus production due to its characteristic after years of the breed improvement. It is important for farmers to make rich and to enhance the finance of the county.How to give the advantages of Qiongzhong Green Orange industry, to overcome the problems existing in the development,to use the opportunities brought by the citrus industry development at home and abroad.,to resolve all sorts of threats facing the development,letting the county’s citrus industry become morebigger and more stronger, is an urgent major task..In this paper, through access to information, on-the-spot investigation, discussion and visit,questionnaire survey and other forms of Qiongzhong Green Orange industry on the basis of the investigation, the author master the various internal conditions of citrus industry development in Qiongzhong county(industrial advantages and disadvantages) and the external environment (opportunities and threats) etc.combined with domestic and foreign advanced experience and development situation, using "SWOT "analysis to comprehensive analysis and comparison the internal conditions and external environment of the development of The Green Orange industry in Qiongzhong County.using the principle make the advantages and opportunities maximize and make weaknesses and threats minimize, the author study and explore countermeasure and suggestion for development of The Green Orange industry in Qiongzhong, the main results are showed as follows:(1) The main of the Qiongzhong Green Orange plant area are Yinggen town,Wanling town,Hongmao town,and the Wanling town had been the top of Qiongzhong Green Orange industry,which is about45.2%of the total citrus plant area in Qiongzhong Green Orange industry,and is about52.93%of the total citrus output in Qiongzhong Green Orange industry.(2) The Green Orange industry development in Qiongzhong County has obvious advantages. It has the favorable conditions with excellent natural resources, convenient transportation,less of production cost and obvious advantage of brand. (3) The development of The Green Orang industry in Qiongzhong County is also facing many difficulties.Orchard infrastructure is backward, extensive cultivation, fruit low commercialization, small scale and scattered,the technical service system is not perfect and soon.(4) Qiongzhong County Green Orange industry is facing good opportunities for development. It has a huge potential for development, the broad market prospect, the attention at all levels of government and other opportunities.(5) Qiongzhong Green Orange industry is facing threat of the development. The impact of foreign high-quality citrus citrus, domestic consumption market changes, the rise of citrus production in the surrounding County, the quarantine pest seriously,threaten to the brand of The Qiongzhong Green Orange and frequently threaten to typhoon.Based on the above findings, this paper proposes some countermeasures for The Qiongzhong Green Orange industry development listed below:Firstly,planning by the base scientifically, constructing the seed-breeding system, building base of core demonstration area, improving the technical service system and popularizing the relevant technology to accelerate the pace of construction of base promotes technology system, improves the technological content of the citrus industry; secondly, by strengthening the post-harvest handling to improve commodity,building the fruits logistics distribution center, exploring actively the market, perfecting marketing network, creating regional brand and other measures to improve the management of marketing;thirdly,enhance to the brand packaging management of the Qiongzhong Green Orange,strike the criminal behavior which whose used the brand of the Qiongzhong Green Orange with illegality in order to protect the brand;the last one is increase to the protection forest to reduce the harm by typhoon.
