An Empirical Study Of FDI To Promote The Optimization Of Industrial Structure In Jiangxi

A large body of research has shown that, the influence of FDI on economic growth significantly, and actively introducing FDI in host countries has produced huge influence on economic,technological, and foreign trade development.With further accelerate the process of economic globalization, China’s provincial FDI has grows quickly. Considering the current global economic environment, Jiangxi is not only faced with effective utilization of foreign direct investment to enhance the level of its industrial structure, while also facing new challenges.The theory of FDI and industrial structure, and the theoretical mechanism of industrial structure upgrading effect of FDI was analyzed in this paper. With the current situation of FDI in Jiangxi Province, by the time series data of1990-2013in Jiangxi Province, using VAR, co-integration, ECM and impulse response model, the paper analyses the influence of Jiangxi’s various industries of the actual use of FDI in Jiangxi’s three industrial structure. Besides the empirical results show that, FDI short-term impact on three industry development is more outstanding. And in the long term, FDI on the upgrading of industrial structure in Jiangxi province plays a role in promoting.As a result, this paper have put forward the corresponding countermeasure to the current situation of the utilization of foreign capital to promote industrial structure upgrade in Jiangxi.
