Dalian Jinzhou New Area always adhering to the developing concept that economy’s development is first priority, and investment promotion is lifeline of regional economy, and caring for enterprise, respecting entrepreneur and taxpayer as the main idea of regional culture, trying best to be the best investing region in China.As the biggest developing area of Dalian, the investment promotion work proceeds steadily and makes good achievement. Dalian Jinzhou New Area ranks No.1in attracting domestic and foreign capitals in Dalian, and the GDP increases continuously. Investment Promotion has made good foundation for regional development of Dalian Jinzhou New Area, and also makes big contributions to Dalian. However, there are also lots of problems with investment promotion, Dalian Jinzhou New Area could make even better development on investment promotion and regional economy, only with making good research on strategies to those problems.This paper firstly summarizes the relevant research at home and abroad on investment promotion and industrial parks, providing a powerful research theory through research content of this article. The paper analyzes the status of investment promotion in Dalian Jinzhou New Area; summarizes the problems with investment promotion work in Dalian Jinzhou New Area and finds causes; with reference of good examples from domestic and abroad, makes schematic designing to the investment promotion work of Dalian Jinzhou New Area; and lastly, gives suggestions to the strategies on improving investment promotion work in Dalian Jinzhou New Area in correspondence.
