Study On The Relationship Between Disclosure Of Environmental Informantion Of The Mining Industry Listing Company And Financial Performance

The development of current economy of our country is obvious to everyone, but the environment problem is increasingly serious.It attracts the attention of the whole society. All countries in the word promulgated relevant laws against environmental pollution encourage people to support environmental protection. In order to solve environmental problems, the pollution source must be controlled. As the main responsible for the environment pollution, they have inducible responsibilities to the environmental pollution. So it must start with the enterprise to improve the current environment situation. At present, our country’s environmental laws and regulations is not perfect enough, so it can not form enough pressure on the enterprise.as a result, many companies blindly pursuing economic benefits, without considering the environment. So, the study of the relationship between environmental information disclosure of listed companies and financial performance is of great significance.This paper combine the theoretical and empirical methods to analyse the environmental information disclosure of listed companies and the relationship between financial performances and it. In the theoretical part, this article firstly defines mining industry, environmental information disclosure level and financial performance. Then introduces relevant legal environment of environmental information disclosure, this paper introduces the relevant environmental laws and regulations separately from the international and domestic two different background. Secondly, the motivation of environmental information disclosure and the mechanism between environmental information disclosure and financial performance are analyzed. Finally, the measurement and the present situation of environmental information disclosure level is analyzed, in the empirical part, this article selects the mining industry of the heavy pollution industries as the research object. And using the descriptive statistical method to analyze the influence factors of environmental information disclosure level. At the same time using SPSS18.0and EXCEL software to regression equation model, analysis of environmental information disclosure level influence on financial performance.The innovation of this paper:firstly, the research object of this article are listed companies of mining industry, as mining industry belongs to heavy pollution industry, it creates greater damage to the environment. So selecting the listed companies of mining industry as the research object has theoretical significance and practical significance. Secondly, based on the assets, business income growth, financial leverage, corporate equity property, whether to set up the environmental protection department or similar institutions in five aspects, the level of environmental information disclosure of listed companies and the relationship between financial performances. To avoid the limitation of the evaluation of corporate environmental information disclosure generated by single factor.
