CNPC Transport Company Location Service Project Risk Management Research

The China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Transportation Company is asubsidiary company of CNPC, the mainly business of which is modern logistics by roadtransport. With the business volume increasing and business scope expanding， the earlierway of vehicle monitoring can no longer satisfy the current needs. It is necessary to improvethe monitoring system using modern methods. Therefore, the CNPC Transportation Companydecided to implement the location service projects, in order to meet the future development.To achieve this goal, how to avoid the project risk becomes the key to the success of theproject.This article was based on the status of the study in risk management both domestic andforeign and also based on the status of risk management in the location services projects ofCNPC Transportion Company,according to the related theory and method in project riskcontrol,proposed the models of risk control in location services of CNPC TransportionCompany, introduced the idea which based on the LEC sophisticated risk controlmethods,extracted the core elements of project management, formulated a risk assessmentmethodology and process, given the methods of risk Identifying, and quantified the analysis,eventually come to risk response measures to help specific risk control in the CNPCTransportation Company location services projects.
