| With the rapid development of our economy and the improvement of urbanization, people enjoy more convenient and quality of life since China’s reform and opening up. But a surge of urban population has brought a series of social problems such as excessive resource consumption, municipal facilities deficiency, traffic congestion, the disparity expansion of rural-urban income, especially the industrial pollution in the urbanization process,has harm to the residents’health and is an insurmountable barrier to hinder the development.In this paper, we study the problem of urbanization and environment pollution. Firstly, I introduce the theory of urbanization, the urbanization situation and the environment pollution situation in our country and also expound the inner mechanism that the urbanization and environment pollution influence each other. Secondly, the urbanization level and the industrial "three wastes" emissions have unit root test, cointegration test, granger causality test to test if they have cointegration relationship and causality relationship, and establish the VAR model to study the dynamic impact of them through the impulse response function, and analyze the contribution of each structure impact to environment pollution through the variance decomposition to further evaluate the importance of different structural shocks. Then the environment pollution is regarded as a by-product generated in production process,according to economy theory from firm behavior, consumer behavior, government behavior we can find out the influence factors of pollution emissions, and according to the relationship between urbanization and environment pollution, eventually to build a model of economic theory. Finally, according to the data of 30 provinces in our country from 2000 to 2012 we have spatial econometric study through the spatial correlation test and spatial panel model, to examine the specific relationship between urbanization and environment pollution, and at the same time to get some other factors on the influence of the environment pollution.Through the study of this article we can get the following main conclusions:Due to at present stage technical level is not high, it is extensive development pattern of energy consumption at most areas in China and with the development of urbanization level industrial waste gas emission increase, but at present Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai have exceeded the critical point of urbanization of urbanization development and achieved industrial waste gas emission decreasing phase. The industrial waste gas emission of various provinces in China exist spatial correlation, spatial agglomeration types are divided into "high-high", "low-high", "high-low", "low-low", "high-high" type mainly aggregate at the eastern provinces of our country, "low-low" type mainly aggregate at the western provinces of our country, "high-low", "low-high" type mainly aggregate at the central provinces of our country. The industrial waste gas emission of various provinces also has obvious relationship with other control variables. In our country’s current level of development, there is a positive relationship between industrial waste gas emission and social capital stock, social labor, industrial product prices, consumer price index, but there is a negative relationship with the technical level, and appear increasing first and decreasing afterward trend with per capita income. |
