An Study On Gold Business Development Of The Bank Of Ningxia

Since the Shanghai Gold Exchange was established in 2002, coincides with the gold market ten years bull market, the gold market in China has been developed rapidly, and gradually mature and perfect. Commercial banks also use their own advantages, vigorously develop the gold business, and continuously enrich the varieties of business, to meet the needs of the market, the gold business has become one of the intermediate business which commercial bank has been vigorously developing, and forming a new profit growth point.Bank of Ningxia started the gold business in January 2012, because of various reasons, lag of gold business, only opening physical gold business at present. In this thesis, based on the full study of China gold market and bank gold business, combined with the gold business development status of the Bank of Ningxia, analyze the existing problems and challenges in the process of business development, and proposes the business development advice, hope to help the gold business development of the Bank of Ningxia.This thesis begin with the introduction of the related concepts and theory of gold business, adopts the writing method of combination of theory and practice, firstly, this thesis introduces the gold business of commercial banks, and analyzes the necessity of the development of gold business to commercial banks. Based on the the development status and existing problems of Bank of Ningxia and with the PEST method and Michael Porter’s competition theory, the thesis makes a deepanalysis on the external environment of this bank through three aspects:macro environment, industry environment and competition environment, then put forward suggestions on gold business development according to the results of analysis.
