Urban And Rural Relations Theory And Contemporary Value Of Marxist Classical Writer

The urban-rural relation is a fundamental relationship of human society. It is an important component of Principle of Marxism that were great concerned by Marxism Classical writers. Since the founding in 1949, the urban-rural gap becomes greater, along with economic developing rapidly. It may be due to urban-biased system and “industry first” development strategy. This phenomenon directly effect the whole development of our national economy and society. It devotes an important theoretical support and ideological enlightenment to balancing urban and rural development that to study the essence of urban-rural relation of Classical writers and accurately explain this theory.Urban-rural relation of Classical writers was proposed in 1940 s with rapid development of industrial revolution and urbanization level. At same time, the ideas about urban-rural development of utopian socialist doctrine was critical inherited by Marxism and Engels that base on dialectical materialism and the historical materialism. They focus on analysis urban-rural distinction, furthermore, they presented the ideas about how to eliminate the gap between urban and rural areas. In addition, this Theory was development by Lenin on the background of imperialism and proletariat. He dose some exploratory effort in theory and practice on urban-rural relation that base on practice of Russian socialist revolution and economic construction. He forces on analysis of the factors of urban-rural gap when Russian capitalist development.Scientifically study and draw lessons from the Marxist classics which are about the relationships between urban and rural areas is significant for us in present times. With the sustainable development of society, although the classical thoughts of Marxist cannot completely solve all the problems about the developing relationships between urban and rural areas, we can still summarize lots of scientific and useful revelations from these Marxist classical works to guide the practice of Chinese urban and rural development.After new China founded, great importance of the city and countryside relations, and trying to explore the road of coordinated development between urban and rural areas, but the relationship between urban and rural development of our country still exist many problems in the process. Through sorting out the development and evolution of the different states of our urban and rural relations, the problems such as the increasingly larger gap between urban and rural areas, the conflict between urban expansion and farmers’ interests, weak association between urban and rural economy and the imbalance between urban and rural ecological environment should be analyzed objectively. Aiming at the development and current situation of urban-rural effective measures and immediate actions in economic, social management, cultural, ecological and other fields are important for us to restrain the expansion trend of the gap between urban and rural, which will lead to a new-typeurban-rural relations with Chinese characteristics.
