Compared with traditional financial, the service object of microfinance was mainllow-income people and small enterprises. Microfinance has developed into a worldwide well known system from the prototype of the last century by taking less than 40, glowing the vitality and vigor. China started to develop microfinance in the 90 s, and it was still in the exploratory stage. Microfinance can make the ordinary people to contact financial and know financial, and financial is no longer the rich man’s game. Microfinace can help poor out of poverty and ease the problem of “agriculture, rural areas and famers” effectively. It provides capital for the urban low and middle income earners by self-employment. Also, microfinance opens up a channel for small enterprises to solve financing difficulties, and provides a strong finance security for seizing the opportunities to further develop. In a word, microfinance is an important part of inclusive finance system, and laies the solid foundation for it.The article mainly uses methods of date analyses, case researches and comparative analyses. First of all, it provides an overview of microfinance, including its definition, characteristics, development courses, significance, etc. Secondly, it Analyzes four development modes of micro finance and the existing problems of three aspects in China, divided into macro on the legal and regulatory level, meso level on the credit environment and micro system construction of financial institutions. etc. Thirdly, it compares the different types of microfinance development models in the world, for example Grameen Bank,Unit Desas of Bank Rakyat Indonesia and American community banks, and then get enlightenments. In the end, it proposes countermeasures and suggestions for further development of microfinance in China from the macro, meso and micro aspects.
