Research On The Financing Problems And Countermeasures Of Hunan Provincial Water Transportation Construction & Investment Group

Shipping industry demand high amount of money, which is characterized by a large amount of investment, long payback period, high operating and financial risks. Shipping companies need to attach great importance to the financing of the effects to ensure that the financial risk and operational risk to a minimum, so as to promote sustainable development of enterprises. At present, the lagging behind of water transport is due to the main waterway infrastructure lagging behind, and a serious shortage of funds caused by water transport infrastructure is the main lagging reason. Europe, Japan and some developed countries and regions have fast construction of transport infrastructure in the early stages of economic development, and one of the important reasons is the reasonable and effective solution to the problem of lacking construction funds. Hunan Water Transportation Construction Investment Group is a hydroelectric river ports operate mainly to the development of tourism projects, land development, aquaculture, supplemented by the industry group. However, the company is also facing the problem of lack of water transportation construction funds, and become a serious problem of the company.Based on the study of the existing water transport characteristics of construction funds, this paper systematically analyzed the origin and structure of water transport construction fund, and comparatively analyzed of the characteristics and the current financing situation of foreign waterway construction and so on, and also summarized the successful experience in the investment and financing of water transport construction to give concrete policy implications. Secondly, in full knowledge of the opportunities and challenges faced by the construction in Hunan waterway, this paper discussed the financial problems faced by Hunan Construction Investment Group and adhere to basic principles and goals to put forward some financing strategies to determine the financing scale, set the financing mix scientifically, and build a wide range of water transport construction financing mechanisms. Finally, put forward policy recommendations of waterway construction financing.The results shows that, Hunan Province Construction Investment Group faces lot of problems, like serious shortage of funds, lack of diversification of funding sources, debt risk, higher financing costs and so on.This company is badly in need of government policy support to promote enterprise restructuring, and then to expand the diversification of funding sources. At the same time, water companies should seek government support and preferential policies actively based on their actual situation, and then put forward targeted strategies to solve water transport construction financing problems, and then to achieve win-win situation as their own development and the development of national water transport.
