With the advance of the national strategy of going out,more and more Chinese companies have chosen to acquire projects and set up factories in Africa. Congo(DRC),as a resource-rich country in Africa and world, has attracted more and more Chinese companies to come there to set up large corporate entities since the political situation has stabilized and the investment environment continues to improve. During entities operating, the proportion of local employees will account for about eighty percent. Experience from the practice of human resource management tell us that compensation is the critical factor in talent introduction and performance improvement, which means the scientific design in the pay structure and level and the building of fair, reasonable, legal and competitive compensation system is the key of human resource management.With the compensation system design of the Chinese-funded M company newly established in Congo as an example, this paper studies and investigates the compensation situation in Congo from the local compensation structure and level, the local laws and regulations, the supply of human resources and so on. Based on the theories on compensation design at home and abroad, combined with the actual situation of the company, it studies the factors affecting the remuneration and selection of compensation strategies. Meanwhile, it conducts an in-depth analysis on job setup and job evaluation. Based on it, combined with the principle of compensation design and local factors affecting compensation, this paper studies and designs the compensation structure and level, and develops a scientific and reasonable compensation system. It assesses the new compensation system after being released and implemented, and combined with the assessment results, it adjusts the compensation system to better meet the needs of enterprise development.Through the study of the compensation system design of Company M, it draws strongly operational and practical lessons in terms of steps of compensation design, compensation strategies, affecting factors, compensation structure, level selection, compensation evaluation and adjustment, and constructs a more complete compensation design, which has certain reference significance for compensation system design of other similar enterprises.
