Currently, the state raises innovation-driven strategy which requires the support of knowledge. As the knowledge economy era coming, more enterprises rely more on unique knowledge than traditional resources such as land, labor and capital. Enterprises’knowledge management capabilities will influence business performance and innovation capability. In some sense, knowledge is created and stored by individuals called knowledge workers. The quantity and quality of them will decide enterprises’competitive advantage in the market.On the other hand, an increasing number of overseas talent return to work at home since the 1990s. Thanks to the city’s booming economic growth and its high degree of internationalization, Shanghai high technology enterprises attract many returnees to work here.Most of the knowledge mastered by returnees is tacit, so it is a difficult task for individuals and the enterprises where they are to transfer and use according to the special domestic background and organization environment.Based on that, the paper made a research on influence factors Of Knowledge transfer of returned knowledge workers in shanghai high technology enterprises from the individual level. Through theoretical analysis and empirical research, the paper has drawn the following conclusions:(1) knowledge transfer of returned knowledge workers contains six factors, including organization adaptability, organizational support, knowledge transfer capacity, knowledge transfer motivation, colleagueship and knowledge characteristic. What’s more, these factors had significant positive influence on knowledge transfer effect except knowledge characteristic. (2) returned knowledge workers with different personalities, different levels of education, different positions, different enterprise background will have different knowledge transfer effect and get different organizational support. (3) Compared with local knowledge workers, returnees pay more attention to colleagueship and more dependent on the resources provided by the organizations.Finally, the paper puts forward concrete suggestions in the light of the conclusions in order to promote the knowledge transfer effectively and efficiently.
