The Research On The Relationship Between Producer Service And Economic Development In The Yangtze River Delta Region

Since 1950s, the development of producer services has increasingly attracted people’s attention all over the world and has become one of the most important features of modern economic development. The development of producer services has been significant through enlarging economic scales, strengthening the amalgamation between producer service and manufacture industry, increasing technology level and regional competence, raising employment and urbanization rate. The Yangtze River Delta, which is the most developed region in China, has leading producer service in size, class and competence. Then how the development of producer service will influence the economic development in Yangtze River Delta?In order to make clear of the question, the author summed up the literature, and analyzed the theoretical mechanism. And the author also made empirical research by using panel data model and grey correlation degree analysis.It has been proven that producer services do have promoted the economic performance in Yangtze River Delta, and the difference industries of producer service have difference contribution rate to economic development. Finally, the author gives suggestion on producer service in Jiangsu Province.
