With the development of industrial agglomeration theory, the increasing maturity of the research on its relationship with economic growth are increasingly becoming the economic hot spots. And energy intensive industry, as part of a great push to the industrial development of our country industry, its concentration under the influence on economic growth. From the global environment, the revolution of science and technology accelerated the world industrial structure adjustment, the development of energy-intensive industries is facing a big test. From the domestic situation, the economic development of our country will enter a new stage, continue to rely on "high investment, high emissions" drive the era of economic growth is negative, the national economy is to make the transition to a new stage of low carbon economy. In this paper, through the analysis of the various concentration degree index, and select the HHI index, namely the energy-consuming industrial concentration degree as explained variable, per capita GDP is as explained variable, establish a dynamic panel data model, from two aspects of the linear and nonlinear regression model, using GMM estimation method, discusses the energy intensive industries agglomeration effects on economic growth in China. Our government through the empirical analysis,so as to realize the regulation of energy-intensive industry scientific andrationalization proposal is put forward. The results show that the energy intensive industries agglomeration and economic growth have a nonlinear relationship between the growth rate of GDP per capita and the industrial concentration degree index has a negative correlation between the square of. The energy-intensive industries agglomeration of economic growth assumes inverted "U" type change. Conclusion shows that the energy intensive industry agglomeration in China once played a positive effect on economic growth, after reaching a peak, when agglomeration level energy intensive industrial agglomeration began a negative impact on economic growth, hindered the economic growth.
