A Study On The Motivation Of Outward Foreign Direct Investment Of Chinese Financial Service Industry

Economic globalization and financial globalization are the main trend of the world today, with the acceleration of Chinese enterprises "going out" strategy and the full liberalization of China’s financial markets, outward direct investment in China’s financ ia l service industry has increasingly become the focus of theoretical research. Financial services of foreign direct investment is directly related to the investment subject, geographica l distribution and the choice of entry mode, and it has important significance to the globalization of China’s financial service enterprise.The motivation of the outward direct investment of china’s financial services industry is the research object of this paper. In the process of the whole research, theoretical analysis and empirical analysis are used, combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis method. For the purpose of total understanding the factors that driving financial enterprises to outward direct investment, paper first elaborate the viewpoints of traditional foreign direct investment theory and the theory of developing country’s foreign direct investment theory. Then paper combining these theory with the status quo and characteristics of China’s financial service industry, and summed up some factors that could affect the behavior of outward direct investment. Followed the theoretical analysis and existing condition analysis, paper use some specific data and statistical software quantified these dynamics, so as to find out what factors driving China’s financial service industry foreign direct investment.Through the study, this discourse find that profit driven, follow customers and gain the external benefit of financial center and saving cost are the common cause of China’s financ ia l industry foreign direct investment. However, access to the market opportunities of host country and competition driven are not obvious reflected in China’s foreign direct invest me nt in the financial industry. The result reflected the financial service industry common service entity economy, and embodies the Chinese characteristics in the initial stage of foreign direct investment in the financial services industry. Combining with the characteristics of China’s financial service industry foreign direct investment with the results of empirical analysis, finally paper give some advises to big financial service financial services enterprises and small and medium-sized financial services.
