Study On The Coordinated Development Between Urbanization And Service Industry In Anhui Province

Theoretically speaking, the coordinated development of urbanization and the service industry will lead to the gradual increase of urbanization and upgrades the quality of service structure. But overall, the stage of urbanization in Anhui is not adequately pulling service sectors and service sectors is not adequately pushing urbanization, urbanization and services is not enough coordinated, resulting in a relatively low level of urbanization, the overall low level of service sectors.Based on related theory of urbanization and services, this paper studies coordinated development of urbanization and service industry in Anhui from 1990 to 2013. By the establishing comprehensive evaluation index of urbanization and service sectors, using factor analysis to measure indicator index. The paper establishes a coordination degree model that can measure the coordination level of urbanization and service sectors in Anhui province.the model finds that Urbanization and services experience a coordinated development since 2002, but urbanization and service sectors experience weak coordination since 2006. The analysis reveal that four factors including the internal structure issue of service sectors, the city’s lack of radiation effects, public services mismatch and institutional constraints lead to coordination index reverse resulting in inadequately coordination between urbanization and service sectors.Based on above analysis, the paper gives the related policy recommendations.
