In the 1980s, through the strengthening of political cooperation between China and Africa and the economic and financial fields, we have reached a win-win situation. During this period, Chinese direct investment in Africa to finance projects of the number and amount is still relatively small, at the end of 1990, a total of 33 projects to reach $ 17 billion. However, since 2006, after the first session of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum, China’s direct investment in sub-SaharanAfrica has been considerable increase in the number. China has become one of the important partners of African countries. Chinese investors have begun large-scale investment in many industries to Africa; Africa has made tremendous contributions to the economy, In this case, we will try to analyze the impact China’s direct investment in the economic development of sub-Saharan Africa. This paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter introduces the world of investments, in order to better understand the principles and foundations of the IDE, we will also look at the foreign investment in Africa. In the second chapter, we will examine the opportunities and challenges of Chinese investors in Africa. In the third chapter, we will describe in detail the past year Chinese investors in Africa operating conditions. In the fourth chapter, we will focus on analyzing the driving forces for Chinese investors to invest in Sub-Saharan Africa. The fifth chapter, Madagascar case study. The sixth chapter, we will list the conclusions and solutions. Our conclusion is that sub-Saharan African countries, in particular Madagascar must have a long-term economic development of policy guidance, each country should also have a series of strong economic policies to cope with the requirements of investors and potentialinvestorproblems.
