Peasant-workers, one of new things with distinctive characteristics of china emerged in the process of industrialization and urbanization and powerful human resource guarantee of economic and social development, have experienced a generation shift of population structure that whom born after 1980 s becomes the main force of this group. Compared to the old one, the new generations of migrant workers have a higher degree of professional education, higher expectations, physical and spiritual enjoying demand and less tolerance to work. They are modern in work philosophy, and look forward to beautiful life. However, their social status and working condition is still the same to the old generation, which makes so great contrast in their heart and a lack of well-being perception, especially job-related well-being for the reason that work is almost all of their lives and job-related well-being is almost decides their general well-being, that leads to a severe consequence, a spate of suicides at Foxconn plants is a example. So to pay a close attention to what and how influences job-related well-being of the new generation of migrant workers’, not only has academic meaning, but also benefits to organization management and the quality of life of the new generations of migrant workers.Past research focus on the influence individual characteristic, enterprise and social environmrnt on job-related well-being of the new generation of migrant workers’ from static perspective. However with the rise of interactive psychology and the study of People-Organization Fit, researchers find that single individual characteristic or environment variable is not enough to explain individual attitude and behavior, and that the interaction of them is the best. People-Organization Fit Theory emphasizing the role both of individual characteristic and environment variable and making focus on the consistency of People and Organization, becomes the new study direction of individual attitude and behavior. At present, the common meodel of People-Organization Fit Theory contains three dimensions: supplementary fit, needs-supply fit, demands-ability fit. This study makes a research on the job-related well-being of the new generation of migrant workers’ from microscopic enterprise level based on the theory of person-organization fit.The empirical analysis result shows that three dimensions of Person-Organization Fit(supplementary fit, needs-supplies fit, demands-abilities fit) all have significant positive effect on job-related well-being of new generation of migrant workers, and work significance perceived by the new generation migrant workers has a mediating effect. In addition, the modernity of new generation of migrant workers, namely individual value orientation, positively moderates the role the Person-Organization Fit, especially supplementary fit and needs-supplies fit, played in influencing job-related well-being.This study mainly consists of four parts, and content of each part is as follows:The first part(chapter 1) describes the research-related theoretical and practical background, research topics, a preliminary description of research purposes, research significance, research contents. The second part( including chapter 2&3) firstly summarizes previous studies, including the definition and characteristic of new generations of migrant workers, the definition, measurement method, influence factors of job-related well-being and the literature of well-being of new generations of migrant workers. Then on the basis of the analysis of previous literature and based on the theory of person-organization fit, proposes the hypotheses of this study, and finally builds the theoretical model. The third part(including chapter 4&5) introduces the research design and data processing. Firstly, shows the measurement of relevant variables, the design of the questionnaire and a brief overview of the statistical methods used in this study. Then, analyzes the reliability and validity of the questionnaire and finally tests the underlying assumptions by multiple regression analysis. The last part(chapter 6), summarizes the conclusions of the study, presents the findings of practice enlightenment, the lack of research and the outlook of the follow-up study.
