In today’s world, economic globalization makes the developing countries and regions by the culture shock is increasingly protruding, the traditional culture in our country have also been very big impact, especially in the construction industry. In the real estate industry, the cultural characteristics of national, regional are declining at a very fast pace.Urban Construction basically walked a Overall-Westernization and the cites of sameness’s way that is an irreversible blow for the Chinese traditional architectural culture.Moreover, Modern architecture exists a problem also for deliberately copying the original old buildings.This is not the traditional architectural style of carry forward and apply, but misunderstood what traditional architectural style is or what the local characteristic is.vigorous building should be suitable for the local which can be fully integrated into and reflect the local culture.In this environment, some themselves with history and local characteristics and national amorous feelings of towns are the representative of Chinese traditional culture and business CARDS, are also kinds of strong power in the tourism industry.This requires that the construction of tourist sites must maintain and develop its native features of the region to embody the local cultural landscape better. So as to promote the local tourism development much more better.But some of the modern architecture in an ancient town where originally has harmonious style and features looks incompatible with the old architectures,destroyed the original style and features of the ancient town.On the other hand, we cannot blindly copy the original building, because no matter from people’s living environment and habits, or from the development of tourism,the function of the buildings has changed. The promotion and development of Traditional culture and construction is a more urgent problem now.Therefore, how to preserve their own special traditional architectural style, how to protect the historic buildings, and can be adapted to the development of tourism,at the same time can make the old and new buildings developing harmoniously and how to make Chinese traditional culture elements in the modern architectural design get more extensive combination and application.It is the current problem that we should focus and face.It is also the main basis for choosing this article.Research on LiJiang,ShuHe ancient town in YunNan province,HuangLongXi ancient town in SiChuan province and XiJiang Miao village in GuiZhou province,respectively from several angles of the environment, the buildings,the street landscape design and the regional culture landscape to analyse and compare. I summed up that according to different scenic area, we should to use different methods about traditional style and modern inheritance of Tourist Ancient town.Based on the samples of lateral (comparisons among several typical sites of buildings) and vertical (the development of the same scenic spots in different periods)of comparison and analysis. I proposed a hierarchical theory about the elements of Chinese traditional culture and modern architecture combined with the extent,and from the various architectural detail is summarized from which aspects to obtain, will traditional culture elements into the building.For example:to reconstruct or repair the ancient buildings;Keeping their shape unchang ed,but adjusting the space and scale;Change function and purpose of them;Build the archaizing buil dings with modern materials; To demolit and reconstruct the modern architectural appearanc e in the ancient town;Refining characterization of traditional cultural symbols into the buildi ng; The highly refined "imagery "is adopted into the new modern building and so on.Accordi ng to the level of protection,scenic area can be divided into core reserves,general reserves an d extension area. The main methods for the core reserves are reconstructing and repairing.Fo r protecting the general reserves there are variety of methods can be used.And for the extension area, the main methods of Exterior renovation and Applying the h ighly refined symbols into the modern architecture are much better.In addition to both of the m,make sure to flexibly use the traditional symbols.The miao village is on the initial stage.put more emphasis on the protection of the original;Huang long xi belongs to the development level,on the basis of the original,many new buildings were built with full of subtle changes.Otherwise, the traditional cultural symbols have been good used in the cultural field.It more strengthened the characteristics of Sichuan folk houses.Li Jiang is more mature,not only in structure or show the traditional cultural elements,but also has well integrated planning or interaction between ShuHe ancient town. At the same time, to provide relevant steps and ideas of exploitation of Tourist Ancient town.Through the analysis can be concluded, on the protection and development of Tourist Ancient town, can give the relevant departments and staff to provide a whole train of thought, the first to classification of the protection zone of ancient town, and then take some appropriate methods respectively, and finally can also according to the evaluation standard to evaluate the ancient town and provide guidance. To provide the basis and methods for the protection and inheritance of the Tourist Ancient town in Southwest China.
