Research On The Optimization Of Economic Spatial Structure Of County In Chongqing

Economic space structure is an economic structure system that formed by the interaction between various economic elements, which must meet with the economic development. Basing on the spatial econometric theory, with many methods including theory, empirical, qualitative and quantitative being used, the aim is to explore the motivation of economic growth of Chongqing, and to research the space effect of economic growth and the spatial heterogeneity. Another aim is to find the rule and character of the change of economic spatial structure, in virtue of researching integration and convergence of economic growth, which regard space effect as an important factor that affect integration and convergence. All of this may help to deepen the understanding of economic spatial structure in Chongqing and to optimize it further. Meanwhile, many spatial econometric models are made use of, through the comparative analysis, the feasibility of different models was surveyed.First of all, the concepts and theories relating to economic spatial structure were reviewed and teased. On this basis the evolution and current situation of economic spatial structure in Chongqing were teased and analyzed. The city scale, traffic accessibility, urban and rural dual structure characteristics are important. Secondly, exploratory spatial data analysis(ESDA) deriving from geography information science was used to measuring the space correlation of 38counties in Chongqing from 2000 to 2013,with the two variables CV and Moran’s I. The nature of space data was analyzed and identified. The result shows that, since 2000, the level of regional economic development in Chongqing area in space is similar to that of agglomeration features, and with the passage of time, the concentration degree continuously strengthen, with high level of economic development region adjacent region, the economic development level is higher; Instead, with the low level of economic development in the region adjacent region, the economic development level is low. Thirdly, empirical analysis on the convergence of economic growth of counties in Chongqing took place with the confirmatory spatial data analysis (CSDA).The result is the convergence of economic growth in Chongqing is remarkable, but the speed is far behind the national average level, the economic spatial structure is not reasonable. The economic growth in Chongqing convergent, economic growth in backward areas is faster than that in rich area. Using β estimated from the model to calculate the convergence coefficient. The result is 0.0068,but the national level is 0.02. The reason is the low level infrastructure and the unreasonable urban system structure. Finally, according to the results obtained from the empirical phase, as well as the cause, we offer proposal:① Downtown area based on the existing economic development advantages, highlight its core capabilities, the counties in "one circle" make full use of its geographical advantages, efforts to create conditions to promote economic interactions with the center strict, undertake the industry transfer.② speed up the construction of regional central cities, give full play to the functions of the spread of economic center and drive. By building a reasonable urban system, accelerate the construction of eastern cities, to be as growth pole, driving the rapid development of surrounding areas.(③to strengthen the construction of infrastructure in underdeveloped regions, in preparation for continues the industries of the developed area.
