| For lastest years,with the growthing of population and the developing of economic,the area of arable land for per head is less and less.Though the quality of cultivated land in our country can be have a good development trend,there are still some prominent problems of arable land in some areas and for some factors. As an agricultural country, agricultural population accounts for most of total population and the most subject of population for land using is the farmer.The farmer’s behavior of land utilization has a direct impact on the conversion of land use and the change of land cover as well as the high or low of land quality.At present,whether domestic or foreign have been put more attention on the study of the behavior with land use.The analysis of cropland quality from the view of farmer household has been a trend for the current study.For this reason, this paper main analyzes the behavior of farmer’s intennsive utilization of cultivated land and their effects on the quality of arable land. Then analyzes the composite index of natural quality and synthetic quality of arable land by the comprehensive index model. Finally,we approach the effect that caused by the behavior of household combined the comparative analysis of the quality and the behavior of intensive use of cropland. Through above analysises, this paper draws the following conclusions:1) The analysis of farmer households’intensive land use behavior. Through the analysis of the behavior of farmer household’s use of cropland in study area based on the production function model, we conclude that the investments of pesticide, fertilizer and the average of labor in agriculture have a great effect on farmer household’s agricultural income in research area. The behavior of farmers’ intensive use of cultivated land for the study area is increasing the input of pesticide and fertilizer. Under given conditions, the higher of the age about the labor in the study area, the richer of their experience, the more benefit of the intensive of arable land. According to the results of the production function model, we district the villages of study area into four types based on the intensity.2) The analysis of the quality about cropland.Through the analysis of the natural quality and the synthetic quality of arable land about four types of villiage which are based on the production function model by the general index model,We conclude that the composite index of the natural quality is subordinate to the synthetic quality within every type of the villiage and the composite index of the synthetic quality will decrease with the intensity of cropland of the village as well as the composite index of natural quality with four types of village is close.The relation between intensity and synthetic quality of arable land is positive, but there no clear correlation between the intensity and the natural quality of cultivated land. Then, with the comparative analysis of the synthetic quality of cultivated land in all study area, we arrived that the composite index is low whether the natural quality or the synthetic quality. The correlation between the behavior of farmer’s intensive use of arable land and the natural quality of cropland is not obvious.On the contrary, the correlation between the income of household and the synthetic quality of arable land is apparent.3) Influnce of farmer’s behavior about intensive use of cropland upon the quality of cultivated land.The relations between the agriculture-income and the quality of natural and synthetic are proportionate.The dependency on synthetic quality is higher than the natural quality. The natural quality has a little effect on the intensity of cropland, Whereas there is a negative correlation between the intensity of cropland and the synthetic quality of cropland. The behavior of intensive use of cropland has already improved the quality of cropland in study area. |
