Changes And Analysis On Land Use In Jiuxian Mountain Small Watershed

The paper is based on high resolution remote sensing image data shot in 2009 and 2013 in the Jiuxian mountain small watershed where is the typical small watershed in the hilly area in middle south of Shandong Province.I use a variety of methods of geographic information systems(GIS) technology, integrated geography, landscape ecology, statistics, science and other land evaluation,a combination of qualitative and quantitative to research and analyse the characteristics of land use dynamic change, mechanisms, processes and rules from different sides in order to provide decision-making basis for land resources management and utilization.The reserch show that increase efforts to develop tourism and returning farmland to forest and grassland policy has caused significant changes in land use patterns from 2009 to 2013 in the Jiuxian mountain small watershed. From the number of the change of land use structure,garden area was significantly increased among those land use changes in the Jiuxian mountain small watershed,relative change rate of 155.65 percent, becoming the largest amount of land use change type during this five years; arable land decrease year by year,accounting for the total basin area from 20.40% to 18.59%;grassland area increase,occupied the basin area has increased from 3.52% to 4.02%, the relative rate of change is 14.26%;From the point of view of land use spatial variation,the Jiuxian mountain small watershed land use change occurs mainly in the hilly area of Piedmont, mountain inclined plains, the main ditch and each branch trench in basin, due to the recent increase in the Jiuxian mountain small watershed tourism development efforts, residential and industrial land 、 land transportation increases, at the same time it can also be seen that some problems have caused by the lack of supervision of development and construction projects;The close relationship between land use changes and altitude as follows: human disturbance height decreased from 290 m to 240m;vegetation changes within the basin is characterized by high vegetation coverage changes small,the overall trend is small, the changes in medium coverage and low coverage is relatively large, the reason is that part ofthe arable land turn into garden.Competition between farmland and garden have been the main form of land use changes,becoming a breakthrough about driving force analysis of land use.We think that natural factors,economic factors,macroeconomic policy factors are the main driving force of land use change while land use economic factors are the key of driving force of land use changes.We through analyzing the Jiuxian mountain small watershed land use dynamic changes and driving forces,to reproduce land use structure, quantity and the dynamic process of spatial variation,to deepen the understanding law and cognition of land use spatial extension process,to provide operational ideas and patterns for small scale regional land use planning and the macroeconomic.
