Since our country began,reform and opening up30years ago, we haveachieved greatly in economic development. Market economic system hasgradually replaced the highly centralized planned economic system.Resources allocation is more flexible and diversified. The configuration ofFactor markets that contains labor factor have shift from traditionaladministrative allocation pattern to market allocation pattern. The stateintervention in our labor market has shift from comprehensive intervention tolocal one. State intervention in the labor market serves economic developmentand begins with the supply and demand of labor, further to the price and theprotection of workers, rights and interests. The choice of objects of this seriesof interventions is based on sustainable economic development, as well asall-round human development as the ultimate goal.This article research the relationship between the labor market and theeconomic sustainable development based on the perspective of stateintervention. It mainly research the impaction of intervention in labor prices,employment structure, human capital and labor protection and other aspectson economic development. Through the empirical analysis of the labor marketand economic sustainable development, it found that the substitution effectexists between the industrial structure and the wage level. The proportion inthe distribution of labor is not high and the accumulation effect of workers,wealth is not clear. But the human capital investment must achieve a certaindegree that can play a significant effect. From the empirical result of Chineseintervention in labor market, we find that the quantity and quality of laborconfiguration in industrial structure is different. There is imbalance betweenthe flow of quantity and quality of labor in industry. Human capital investmentto achieve a certain degree and investment in social insurance may cause thesignificant economic effects. At the same time, it points out the lack of stateintervention itself and puts forward to comment in our labor market.This article not only studies the impaction between state intervention inlabor market and economic development, but also analyzes the particularity ofChina’s labor market itself. It also makes research on China’s labor market reform and development process and labor market policies in history since thereform and opening up. It studies the effect of state intervention from theaspects of policy, experience, and theoretical of the labor market in China, andthen leads to labor market pressure index as another important basic selectionof state intervention in the labor market in China. So that it can achieve a goodresult of the intervention in labor market.
