With the complex of business activities and market environment, enterprises paymore attention to the role of information systems for business operations, managementand decision-making and information systems. And information systems have becomean essential management tool. Especially since "two-oriented integration" strategy ofthe Twelfth Five-year Plan is proposed, enterprise information system has been appliedto all aspects of the daily management activities. In this situation, in order to meet thechallenges of the market environment and the need of manage XX Oil ProductionCompany has implemented ERP systems. But how to improve the usage and success ofERP after the implementation has become an important issue, which has importantpractical significance.In this paper the individual level ERP assimilation theory is introduced as basic,and then the current situation of ERP application in XX Oil Production Company isintroduced. This paper use case study to identity the influence factors on ERP users’assimilation and found4factors as intrinsic motivation, perceived usefulness,absorption capacity and job responsibilities. Then ERP users’ advice network is drewand measured through social network analysis and ERP users’ assimilation ispreliminary analyzed by drawing the graph of users’ advice network. After that thispaper used clustering methods to evaluate ERP users’ assimilation. Finally,management recommendations are proposed to enhance ERP user’s d assimilationlevels.This paper is based on the theoretical basis, and from the management practices,which provides a reference path for improving the ERP assimilation of XX OilProduction Company and lays a foundation for good application of ERP.
