Research On The Application Of Asset Securitization To The Construction Of Township Infrastructure

As the rapid development of national economy in recent years, we have enteredinto the middle stage of industrialization. New-type urbanization has become thenew development strategy of the country, which is the biggest potentiality to expanddomestic demand, and the pillar to support the steady and rapid development of ournational economy in the coming twenty years. To speed up the urbanization indicatesthe expanding demands of construction of urban infrastructure. The traditionalfinancing mode is hard to meet the financing demands required by the constructionof township infrastructure at the current time. How to expand the sources of fundsrelates to the healthy development of urbanization. Asset securitization, as a newtype of financing mode, can be applied to the construction of township infrastructure,which will effectively alleviate the funding problem in the construction of townshipinfrastructure, thus further promote the reform of our investment and financingsystem.This thesis takes the application of asset securitization to the construction oftownship infrastructure as the research object. It firstly elaborates the significance ofasset securitization applying to the construction of township infrastructure, and thenit introduces related theory of asset securitization and its development status at homeand abroad. Later it analyzes in detail about the current status and existing problemsof township infrastructure in our country; it also analyzes the current financingsituation and the foreseeable challenges of the construction of townshipinfrastructure; furthermore it elaborates the advantage of asset securitizationcompared with other financing modes, and the external environment in our countryto get it launched. At the end of the thesis after analysis, it works out a project ofoffshore asset securitization applying to the construction of township infrastructure,based on the site conditions of demonstration township construction in Tianjin JiCounty. The thesis has also analyzed the foreseeable difficulties by theimplementation of such project.
