| The trust among the parties involved is the key successful factor in the team ofintegrated project delivery. And the trust in the IPD team plays an important role torealize the information sharing among team members and help the IPD mode to besuccessful. However, with the limitation of bounded rationality and limited cognitiveability, the trust which can be realized as one’s cognition on trustee’s uncertainbehavior will inevitably be influenced by cognitive biases. Therefore, based on thecognitive theory, this thesis is to study the relationship between team trust andcognitive biases of team members in IPD project, in order to offer reference andinspiration for the establishment and improvement of team trust in IPD project.Based on the study of the literatures and the characteristics of IPD team, the thesisrefines the evaluation factors which affect the establishment of trust among IPD teammembers and builds the assemblage of cognitive biases. By using two-tuple linguistic, the thesis aggregates the linguistic assessment information obtained from thequestionnaire research, and evaluates the trust level of IPD team and the cognitivebiases level of team members. Then, this thesis uses the SPSS software to analysis therelationship between trust indicators and cognitive biases. The results of the studyindicate that, there is a relatively higher relevancy between the trust indicators andcognitive biases, especially the cognitive biases in information-collection phase andinformation-assessment phase have a close relationship with most trust indicators. Finally, based on the cognitive theory, the thesis makes an in-depth analysis on thecauses of the interrelationship between cognitive biases and trust indicators andproposes some specific measures for correcting the cognitive biases and improving thetrust level in IPD team. The thesis provides a new perspective of research on IPD teamtrust and a theoretical help for effective implement of IPD in construction project. |
