Ecological Civilization demand that we ought to exalt banner of ecological civilizationconstruction, live harmoniously with nature, pay equal attention to economic development andenvironmental protection. Water environment management is an important part of EcologicalCivilization which decides human beings’ live and development.As an important industry thatsatisfies the requirement of human food, aquaculture industry has gained more and moreattention on its development. Chinese aquaculture industry has a long history and has developedrapidly. It has become the leader in world aquatic products trade with the highest annual output.However, the economic development is often accompanied with the damage to theenvironment.Sometimes fish-farmers often have a excessive pursuit of yield but neglectenvironmental protection. They often choose the high-density culture model, toss a lot of feed,use fishery drug and drain swage illegally. As a result, the aquaculture pollution has lead to theserious problems in aquatic product quality and safety. So it is important to change the aquaticfarming pattern to promote the ecological transformation of Chinese aquaculture industry.Based on the theories of industrial ecology, environmental management and sustainabledevelopment of economy, the writer has studied on the ecological status, problems andapproaches of Chinese aquaculture industry and analysed the causes of environmental pollutionfrom the aspect of the government, the aquatic enterprises and the public by the methods ofliterature research,field research and questionnaire survey. In order to solve the problems, somesuggestions can be listed as follows: strengthening the government managing functioneffectively, promoting the ecological construction of aquatic enterprises vigorously, improvingthe public participation mechanism gradually and pushing science and technology innovationactively.
