Under the trend of economic globalization, new economic wave and the economiccrisis are emerging. Resources widely flow, which accelerate the global competition.International division of labor is more obvious, which increase high degree of regionalintegration. Close contact with the world economy and society, making the divisionbetween regions through administrative or natural division of labor together to participatein the overall situation of economic competition. Globalization has brought to the regionaleconomic development opportunities and challenges. Regional governments faced withhow to enhance regional core competitiveness in order to develop economic and socialproblems. Now regional core competitiveness of related research is raised to a strategiclevel.With the rapid progress of the economy, to accelerate the pace of urbanization,regional brand building is widespread concerned. Creating regional brand is to solvepuzzles and to enhance the core competitiveness of regional critical path. This article willexamine the regional core competitiveness and regional brand. I propose using theapplication of regional branding to enhance regional core competitiveness. The first is theregional core competitiveness theory. Regional core competitiveness is determined by theaccumulation of a region to maintain their competitiveness lasting stability, which is aunique region and through the allocation of resources, corporate innovation, industrialupgrading and other ways to achieve consolidation. It is made by five parts. You can usethree means to build it. Second, using the three aspects to analyze Hebei Province and findthe problems. Finally build the regional brand to enhance Hebei regional corecompetitiveness and give four methods. At last I hope the four methods can effectivelyimprove the core competitiveness of Hebei and will help economic development in thefuture.
