By using k-means clustering method belonged to data mining and factor analysismethod, selecting the financial situation data of energy listed companies in2009-2012, thethesis establishes the evaluation index system of listed company’s financial situation. Thedata selected are on the basis of data selecting principle of data availability andcomprehensive. Use the method of data cleaning, integration, standardization to preprocessthe index data. Thesis does clustering research on listed company’s overall financialsituation, as well as the classification clustering research of quality of assets, the capitalstructure quality, profits quality and cash flow quality.The thesis researches evaluation on energy listed company’s financial conditionquality based on clustering and divides the energy listed company into four types which isdevelopment-oriented enterprises, medium type and low profit enterprises, risk enterprise.Analyze characteristics of each type and put forward the corresponding development of targeted advice. Summarize four years of clustering results of energy listed companiesfrom2009to2012in sequence and divides the energy listed company into three typeswhich is development potential, development fluctuation and development slide. Speciallyexplains "Singularity" company and gives opinions or suggestions from two directionsmacro and long-term. With reference to the overall clustering, studies the energy listedcompany’s classification clusters of asset quality, capital structure quality, profits qualityand cash flow quality.
