This article is under the macroeconomic background, trying a new way to read the clothingsales in Shanghai, quantitative research the correlativity between Shanghai clothing sales data andeconomic statistical data using the big data thinking mode. Has nothing to do with clothing salesseem unordered data analysis, to find latent factors related to clothing sales.The research broke through traditional study thought of "building a model-samplingsurvey-authentication model", its malpractice lies in the limitation of the model assumptions,which can only be updated model is set up through the existing knowledge of logical reasoning.This paper based on the "big data collection-looking for correlation-depth interview data analysis"of the research methods, trying to find big data thinking the feasibility of the application in thefield of clothing sales.In terms of data collection, clothing sales data from Shanghai garment association, the timeof beginning and ending data for2011-2013, including three indicators of twelve monthly datacategory; Shanghai economic statistics from the Shanghai statistics bureau official website,including the four categories of sixteen subdivision index.Through the data preprocessing, theexistence of missing project by artificial calculation, and the classification of data integration.Onthis basis, using SPSS analysis the correlation of two groups of data, the emphasis on four types ofclothing sales have high correlation with Shanghai’s economic statistics, and clear focus on thetarget.An exploratory study, this paper based on the analysis of the related research, expertverification, in order to make clear of this study was to explore the direction of the correctness andaccuracy.Considering the representative, professional, authoritative, and interviews will bethinking of large data into the outline form, to the clothing industry experts, statistics of industryexperts and big data research three experts in-depth interviews, this article research conclusionpraise from experts, experts also puts forward the thinking and Suggestions for future research, some Suggestions and write feedback and summarized the Shanghai bureau of statistics.In brief, with the continuous development of big data, more and more industry will bedevoted to the research and analysis of big data, garment industry as the essential part of theconsumer goods industry, research and analysis its internal big data is crucial. Garment industry ofbig data research is a worthy of further research direction, it drastically with the development ofnew marketing era and environment, the research achievements of this paper may provide a basicreference for garment industry, also as a referral for follow-up study.
