The Correlation Study Between Industrial Structure Adjustment And The Power In City Network

The relation between city network and industrial structure adjustment will haveinfluence on the region’s development and even the sustainable development of thewhole society. Industrial structure adjustment is related to a country’s economicdevelopment speed and quality. The city network is related to a nation’s socialharmony and stability of economic development. In short, the social and economicdevelopment of a country depends on a combination of both them. Currently, thereare not many researches on the relationship between industrial structure adjustmentand the city network. Most of the existing researches focus on the theoretical andmacro research. There is lack of empirical research. Based on the Yangtze river deltametropolitan area as the research object, the paper is about the empirical research ofthe correlation problem between industrial structure adjustment and city networkforce.This paper is based on the existing theories of domestic and foreign scholars’industrial structure adjustment and the urban network. The paper is following thecombination of theoretical research and empirical research and is to study thecorrelation of the industrial structure adjustment and the city network force. First ofall, the meaning of adjustment of industrial structure and the city network force arestudied, and analyze the influence the adjustment of industrial structure to citynetwork. Then, the measurement index system of industrial structure adjustment andthe city network force is established. The present situation of the industrial structureadjustment and the city network force is analyzed. Second, the relationship betweenthe industrial structure adjustment and city urban network forces by structuralequation model is analyzed. Respectively, the research model of industrial structureadjustment of each dimension and urban network force is established. The correlationresearch between industrial structure adjustment and the urban network force isestablished. The research results show that there is positive correlation between thecomprehensive level of industrial structure adjustment and the power in the citynetwork. While among the industrial structure supererogation, the rationalization ofindustrial structure, the ecology adjustment of industrial structure, empiricallyinternationalization of industrial structure adjustment and urban network force, thereis a positive correlation. The industrial structure supererogation is highly on thelargest contribution to the force of the city network. The ecology adjustment ofindustrial structure makes the minimal contribution to the city network. Finally,based on the previous theoretical analysis and empirical research, the correspondingconclusions and policy suggestions are supplied. And the deficiency of the researchpapers and prospect is put forward.
