Nowadays，the strange phenomenon of “difficult to sell，expensive to buy”emerges frequently in China despite there are a lot of agricultural informationalwebsites. This indicates that these sites failed to play their role because of these sitesfailed to meet the real needs of rural users. In this essay, we discuss how to build anagricultural trading information platform that will service the county-wide userneeds and easing the dilemma of circulation of agricultural caused by asymmetricinformation (or information overload) and serving the rural economic development.Firstly, I analyzed the research stage about "county agricultural tradinginformation platform" in domestic and foreign. Secondly, I began to do in-depth anddetailed needs-analysis and module-design for website, as a result, I believe that thesite will has three main modules, namely, agricultural-information, price-trend-analysis and agricultural trade-success-rate calculator. Pricing information in thismodule is collected automatically from other websites by focused crawler. And theagricultural trade-success-rate calculator will calculate the turnover rate about theusers’ given price through create complex mathematical model. On this basis, Idesigned database and table structure, wrote code, built a model, and completed thewebsite. Finally, on the site testing phase, using a large number of actual data toconfirm the accuracy of website code and the effectiveness of site functionality.This site that is designed to meet the needs of rural-users has good targeted,usability and universality which could be applied in other county areas in China.
